This is a quick sketch concept for an illustration of a girl and her faithful monster friend in a cave/cavern/something. Super rough minus my detail on the red guy. I wanted him to be monster-like while still someone you’d want to run up and give a big hug to. I think he’s pretty cute!
He just looks like a “Sam” to me.
I drew this real quick today for my little’s birthday. I actually really love it, for how simple it is, because the style makes me think of comic books, and I’m happy to have cranked something out in a more simple style that I still feel happy and satisfied with.

Quick drawing of Marvel’s Miss America (alias America Chavez), one of the Young Avengers. This one is pretty rough and also looks too much like me, if I were a really pretty superhero. I need to experiment with different features. I need some reference material.
Jon Snow in the “three wolf moon” shirt, because, you know, it’s funny. I liked the progress images, kind of cool to see it as it goes along…I didn’t take any after #2, maybe I should have. His hair was so fun to “paint”. The gallery is sort of formatted wonky… so I’ll include another finished version below.

This was inspired by a photo of a girl with hair similar to this that I saw on a fashion/beauty blog. I would link it, but when the power surged, my computer shut down and I lost all my browser tabs. I quite like this. I should find more real-world inspiration!

Just a goofy little doodle today slash character sketch.
Practicing a bit more realistic – I sort of like the painty look the skin on the face has. Neck’s a bit blotchy. I’m not entirely sure this is done… but thought I’d show it anyway.
