Colored pencil. A facebook friend posted a super vulgar rap song on Facebook that was pumping up her energy in the slow sleepy afternoon. I listened to it, and the clear young valley girl meets new york voice made me picture this face singing and strutting around with attitude. The real singer looks way more wholesome and sweet than the lyrics sound!

Wanted to try out the metallic sharpies my dad got me for Valentine’s day. Drew this. Paul would probably scowl. I think even in pencil form he hates his pictures.
Accidental Art
This is an oldie, from two Sundays ago. I went for a long run in the local park alone, my first outdoor run in a long time (I hate the cold and dark!) I had my phone in my hand, listening yo music with headphones, and apparently my fingers hit not only the unlock button, but the camera and shutter buttons as well. This remained from my run. Evidence of a moment, passing trees and sky and mid-run trance like tranquility. It is just an accidental photo, but the depth and personal message buried in it means more to me than if I had paused and taken it on purpose.
